Butterfly

Butterfly

A Poem by Hoskinsish

Butterfly

If I jumped from way up high

In the Big Blue Sky

Would you catch me like a Butterfly?

Even if my wings were made of bloody glass?

Or would you simply let me crash?

And scrape my shattered wings into the trash?

Would you stomp on me with an evil grin?

Or would you notice my chagrin

And help me learn to fly again?
