What Changed It All

The sound of a bullet piercing through a skull,

And nothing will ever be the same at all

Every day is a nightmare

And no one seems to care

They ask you how you feel

But none of it seems real

The only real thing is the pain

And how much you wish everything would just change

But it never will

And so you simply sit still

Watching the rain

Trying to forget the pain

Listening to the echoing sound of a bullet piercing a skull

Trying to remember anything before that sound changed it all

I really enjoyed this.
It sounds hellish...

A very personal piece I bet. Just never loose sight of who you are through the darkness. We all experience emotional troubles throughout our lives, I'm sorry if this is something you had to deal with in your life.

I'm curious if you've really experienced this because it sounds so real. Although it might only be a representation or something. Anyway, the desire to forget a horrible thing and the pain that it has brought and even the longing to live the same way before that happened are portrayed here perfectly. Great job. :)
