World Of Sorrow Part 1A Poem by Undying GloryFinally, I'm back to raps. Here's another random rap on the world's problems...the first part, that is...World Of Sorrow Darkness, imprisoning day As he watches the hours just bleed away In a cramped, dirty room, in a big factory Stuffed to the brim with little kids like he Working so hard, making toys and goods But not playing with them like little kids should 'Cause he barely has anything, not enough to survive While you just go on with your perfect little life As he struggles so hard, like millions like himself 'Cause you can't even bear to raise a finger to help And as he sleeps and works on an empty tank You're just laughing your freaking way to the bank Wearing those clothes made by people like him And a million others exploited by companies within Another voice Another soul Lost in the bitter darkness A world of sorrow Another song As it unfolds Holds their prayers for happiness For a better tomorrow Darkness, imprisoning day As she looks from her window in the endless rain With the slashes on her left hand, scars on her right 'Cause you beat her and scream at her every day and night Her pain's too much, it runs too deep Far too much for any soul to keep So she reaches for the syringe lying by her side Filled with what she needs, for all the tears she's cried And as she injects herself with the dose in her vein She hopes she'll never wake up again 'Cause you never really knew, and you never really cared About what you said and the bitter life she's had To you she's just another one who's too far gone But you pushed her to drugs, now look what you've done Another voice Another soul Lost in the bitter darkness A world of sorrow Another song As it unfolds Holds their prayers for happiness For a better tomorrow © 2010 Undying GloryAuthor's Note
