Hope In The Smallest ThingsA Poem by Undying GloryMy rap about how hope is always there...no matter what the situationHope In The Smallest Things The world is so dull, the skies are so gray As we go about our boring lives everyday We all hate our lives, but what can we do? Where on earth can we find a sky so blue? Abused by bosses, parents, teachers, the world, The walls are closing in, thoughts just a swirl Waiting for dreams that just don't come true Wishing there was someone else like you To commiserate, talk, something for the pain Just a placebo for all the disdain You walk, the gray streets falling all around The rain is pouring, splashing on the ground "At least my umbrella works," you think to yourself, But over in the distance you see someone else She's soaked to the skin, caught out all alone Running really fast just to get back home But you give her shelter, she smiles at you, And you feel your heart lighten, and you smile too. With the little things that we do everyday Don't listen to them who think that hope's gone away. It's right in front of you, and whatever you do, Hope's in all the smallest things, you know that's true. All the small things that we do everyday Bring back the colour to our world so gray
