Nameless, Faceless (No More)A Poem by Undying GloryA poem about how we can still contribute to others even though it may be in a very small way.
Nameless, Faceless (No More) I step inside the red and white Segmented, electric, Hydraulic machine as it enters the station. I look around at Everyone around me, The strangers that come and go As falling leaves do. Muted whispers fall around me, soon Washed away by lifeless music from the Headphones snaking down to my pocket. Then I see them. As the frail, aged woman and the Boy she carries in her arms Walks up and down, Looking for a seat. Everybody looks at her. Nobody cares. Then I stand up. “Thank you, boy!” I may be nameless and faceless But at least I can still make a difference. © 2009 Undying GloryReviews
