Thank you for your kind comment, funny how I ended up reading this poem of yours, since... well, it's what I'm battling with, "it's been said before... why repeat the same old message, surely someone will find a way of saying it much more eloquently", but then again, you're absolutely right, there shouldn't be only one type of orchid, or... just because Mozart composed masterfully a requiem, it doesn't mean no one should attempt to write one anymore.
It's comforting, and... I'm a little more hopeful again, and a little less scared of playing around with my ideas on paper.

I adore writing about writing. Wonderful poem, Michael. Truly a delight to read. Great cadence and ryhthm with a wonderful tale you have spun.

"The subject can be the same
of the many poems you'll read
but each one holds some magic
as it plants its thoughtful seed
For two poets can hear its voice
though miles apart they be
and both will craft the telling
each one grayed by what's to be "
Very well written I must say: It's true, the writer and paper need to come together as one to make a beautiful master piece. What a poet and paper can do? Create something magical.
