only a whimA Poem by Melissa Frostone of many memories
As I reside in desolate confines
at the edge of your lonely road I await your return Your beguiling smile Your perfidious soul I succumb to your rapturous embrace You enter me with righteous indignation Fill me with poisoned nectar A senseless gaze precedes a mindless backside I know you're feverishly gnawing your lower lip As I wonder whom your thoughts belong to You found me in peace You left me in pieces
