Does Anyone Care

I'm going through a rough patch, but I hide it. No one sees it and when I try to talk about it, they turn away and change the subject.

Does anyone even care

As I sit here dying

Like every day of my life

I am tired of trying

 

I smile on the outside

But that's not how I feel

I hate all of my life

I want life to call re-deal

 

The cards I have hurt

They aren't what I want

All these scars that I have

Do one thing to me, taunt

 

They tell me what I know

That I'm special to noone

Who would care if I left

I really don't want to be done

 

But who would care if I was

Does anyone care about me

Of course they don't

Because the pain, they don't see
