Shattered Again

I'm always the one with a broken heart. That never changes no matter how different the guy seems. Starting to believe it's my fate to die alone.

When I thought I was alone

I met you

It was a pure accident

I just wanted to be brand new

 

You picked up the pieces

Of my very shattered heart

You taped them back together

I thought this was the start

 

Now I know the tape

Can never last

Not the one who uses it

Rips it off fast

 

Now here I am shattered

It's not something new

Here's someone new taping my heart

It will end with goodbye you

 

It always does

Somethings stay the same

What have I done

To always lose in this game

 

It's the same old story

Different characters arrive

This damsel in distress

Will always crumple down and cry

Oh my my, I love this so much!! I can totally relate to it more than anything. I know how you feel. The emotions put into this poem are a lot like how I feel about how things always happen with love. I'm always the one to get hurt. This poem sort of makes me cry, because I really do know how how this feels.
