Were The Scars Planned

This is definitely free verse, but it was the second poem I had ever written.

It's over, I'm done

There's just one thing left

Please tell me how

You walked away with a smile

Leaving me with the pain

Did it bother you

Or are you fine?

Were the scars planned?

You act like it's normal now

And I pretend

But truthfully my feelings remain

Slowly I'm moving on

But before this all ends

Tell me one thing

Were the scars planned?
