Protect and Fight

My friend has been saying some rude things about people he doesn't know and I'm tired of it. He's really not my friend now.

You have a right to an opinion

But in this case, it hurts

Excuse me as I leave

And quicky slam our door

 

You cannot keep this up

I've told you how I feel

A true friend would have stopped

Wounds for them do not heal

 

I will protect them to the end

Even if we fall out from it

Talking to you hurts us all

Now move before I take a hit

 

This has really gone too far

Who cares if you even know

The people they are

Watch my back leave from the blow

This is powerful and strong. Your syntax really does help make this poem great. You may wish to have added more of the friends point of view as well though. Not too much, but just a bit more. Other then that it was great :)
