I Imagine You

I Imagine You

A Poem by The Pretender

I imagine you
as beautiful and brown eyed
or maybe they're baby blue.
Don't know much at all
'cept you're six feet tall
and you're really good at basketball.

And you're all alone
nobody to call at night
cause the step-witch just cancelled your phone.

Just you all day and the
radiator hissing.
Hanging your head, wishing
she was missing
everything you could have had
everything she could have had
if she had stayed.

Talking to me over a Facebook chat,
Saying you wish you knew where she was at.
Why do you still want that?
Why can't you see
everything you could do with me?
boy you drive me crazy!
