Roses Are Red

Roses Are Red

A Poem by KittyVenus

Roses are red,

We are the dead,

My blood is cold and blue,

I owe that to you,

You are as sweet as death itself,

Now you are loosing health,

A rose is like my blood,

Its sweet and good,

My blood is beautifully red,

Unlike a rose as its dead,

Black and shrivelled, a gothic tale,

Your love for me will surely fail.

This really made me think and I like the variety of similes and metaphor but some of the commas should be periods. Even with that noted, it is great. ^-^
