Post Hallows EveA Poem by MetoGenesisAll about the after effect of Hallows Eve.
With the spooks and ghouls come and gone
We are being launched into another holiday almost instantly To big businesses, one is viewed as a pawn Christmas is almost here and it approaches viciously All too soon are we forced to trade the half dead for a merry man Sweets can only help soothe the abrasion for so long November just began Although fond of holidays, this is just plain wrong Is this not just a marketing ploy Where most if not all participate for the sake of tradition Christmas is just a decoy Forcing families into crippling submission But what can one do to avoid such a scam Without being accused of being the next Scrooge? The holiday itself is a sham And the one who celebrates, merely a stooge
