Another day passes,

And what have we learned

You’re happy or you sad,

Can the world continues to turn

Round and round,

We spin so fast

It’s no wonder why,

Our lives don’t last

Hurtling though galaxies,

Here, near, and far

But we can’t see any of this,

Right from where we are

So turning and burning,

We continue to fly

Farther and farther,

Long past the day that we die

But for all of this,

I have not a care

Just as long,

As you’re still standing here

Because you world,

You’re every star

You were the one,

To heal my scars

You took me in,

Without a word

Not listening, not caring,

To the things you heard

Because even though,

I’m flawed and disgraced

I have you my angel,

My one saving grace

So let me build you song,

Right here on this guitar

And maybe those words,

Will warm your heart

My ‘heart of gold’,

Which never did beat

Now pounds with your love,

It’s beating so fleet

Now we’re together,

And there’s one thing I’ll ask

Please love me forever,
