Dear Inspiration

Dear Inspiration

A Story by Alex Paulsen

Dear Inspiration

Although your existence is only abstract, your origins are quite intriguing.
I remember a time when you borrowed from the prose of a drummer,
Stole from the minds of a Philosopher,
And taught me behaviours of the elder.

I remember you sitting between me, and those I love
Every day as long as contact was made.
You even turned up to watch every argument
Afterwards just sitting, offering yourself again.

You're a a messenger
Of many formats
I caught you on the telephone once.
And you never stop delivering so long as I'm alive.

Alex.

It appears the philosopher is schizophrenic and has plural minds... Oh well, it can just stay that way.
