The void

The void

A Poem by Blackened Soul

I am nothing,
The tears in your fabrics,
Carelessly swallowing, digesting,
Every particle in my midst,
Across all the universe,
I am the compilation,
Of all creation, all existence,
Devouring, destroying, disintegrating,
Devoid of the chains,
of space and time,
Following laws, of neither a man,
Nor those of reality itself,
As your understanding,
Of the universe,
is engulfed in my being,
I am, dematerialization,
Destroying all that once was,
And emitting desolation once more,
All in my path, ceasing to be,
But a lonely figment,
Of what once was reality,
For I am the deepest feeling of nonexistence,
The greatest unfathomable pit,
Bottomless and without exit,
I am your god,
I am nothing,
I am, The void.

Very deep and penetrating write. It is a brutally honest piece that conveys no matter how important we picture ourselves to be, in the grand scheme of things, we are all a bit of a "void."

Nice!

thanks man!
In truth, this sounds to me like the Greek goddess Chaos, the first to exist. She slipped away from our world as Gaea came into being and with her, the rest of the world... Beautiful imagery and a wonderfully entrancing view of the void:)

Thank you! My inspiration was black holes, so I guess that about fits too.

Well, whatever the inspiration, it is a beautiful piece indeed:)
