Bloody Betrayal

Bloody Betrayal

A Poem by Blackened Soul

I can never forget, the smile, on her beautiful face,
As all I have any longer are memories,
Until those too are dead and gone,
And without which I can finally move on,
While the flowers, continue to wilt,
And the world, continues to turn,
Passing on, yet never going anywhere new,
Stuck in a rut inhabited by the few,
With the wind, whispering bitterly,
Cries, uttered from a grave profoundly,
Sorrow, forever whispered only in vain,
For her tears are nothing to me,
As she cries out, in screaming agony,
For as the years go by, as the seasons change,
Forever will she be, in the dirt's cold embrace,
And although my axe, no longer bleeds, it is still grateful,
That I let it feed, for love is the nourishment of the soul,
And now that she is gone, I can finally be whole,
Even though I never meant it to end this way,
I felt no remorse on the grizzly day,
Because betrayal is a tricky, gruesome game,
And it's a game designed for two to play.

Nice... the sweet act of vengeance. I enjoyed this... very dramatic and would fit perfectly in Investigation Discovery (my favorite channel). Tight write!
