Broken Bonds

Broken Bonds

A Poem by Blackened Soul

Hate is the feeling,
I never knew could be felt,
Thinking of you, i had to let it all out,
Releasing every thought that needed to be known,
The words sting like razors, cutting our throats,
Impulsive reasoning brings drastic results,
Sabotaging our former intentions,
Poisoning our current interaction,
Bringing about our end,
As we break this bond,
Casting off what we once were,
To become what we both feared most,
Although all wounds will heal,
This pain will always fester,
Rotting our hearts from the inside out,
Nothing will ever be the same.
