Tainted

Tainted

A Poem by One Metallic Teardrop
"

If you believe in Heaven than you must believe in Hell.

"

Does it sicken you to know that infected blood pumps through our veins?

That not every inch of our soul is pure and true.

We are not immune to greed or sloth or lust or gluttony.

Niether are the most pure.

But then again niethier are the devine.

He fell from the top, the top of heaven,

He was loved and favoured by God.

But his failor to trust and love in hummanity

Made him become the enemy.

He was the purest of them all, the son of God,

the brother of the Arch Angel Gabriel.

But he was sick, because he was infected.

Does it scare you to know that what we call the Creator,

Was a father non the less, he punished and loved,

and was immune to deceipt.

He created us in hopes of forming pure and loving subjects,

But his own family was under attack.

Evil has lived just as long as good.

and now we are tainted just as he was.

So whoes to say who is the real ruler.

Is it Heaven or is it Hell

Does it sicken you to know that as long as good exists, evil will remain,

Even if just in the shadows of our minds?
