Imitation

Imitation

A Poem by One Metallic Teardrop

Just as the flower is concieved by microscopic matter,

We are concieved.

Just as the seed of that flower roots, and begins to develope,

We begin to grow.

And as that seed begins it's journey of life,

We do as well,

Just as the seed penetrates the soil,

We become exposed.

Just as the seed is neutered by its surroundings

We are by our family.

We blossom and transform, we create and develope.

And eventually, just as the petals on the flower, and the strength of the stem,

we wilt.

Although unlike the flower, we shed tears, for the wilted.

Unlike the flower we forget that in our destruction

comes beautiful creation.

Author's Note

One Metallic Teardrop
I truley believe that humanity is an imitation of nature, just as art is an imitation of life, and thats what i was trying to communicate in this peom.
