Food ChainA Poem by metaljelly
Deep breaths, don't forget you like them.
It'll make them feel left out because they like you too. Keep calm, because they'll only hunt you when they smell fear; they chase only what they see as easy prey. It's all about how they perceive; they're judgemental you know. When focused you must deceive, divert their attention. Become innocent, play stupid; act seemingly predictable because they're only concerned by what they think they don't know. There's few of them, but we're in giant packs. You're shielded in numbers as long as you're not vulnerable. There are animals with markings. Some markings are perceived by predators as huge eyes; eyes bigger than theirs. This illusion scares the predator into thinking the prey is bigger than them, they flee instantly. Without this adaptation the small animal would be food, but with simple distraction, it sends the vicious to find another. Nature contains brilliancy that we do not see; chameleons hide flawlessly. There are creatures with faces on the backs of their head; no one will sneak up on you if they know you're always watching. They're cowards who only pursue what seems easy, as long as you think ahead of them they'll never catch you.
