I am amazed at people who tell me
Sixteen is so young
If Sixteen was young
than what was five?
What about the girl in striped leotards
Who wanted a childhood
So don’t ask me about my teenage years
Don’t tell me I am too young
There is no such thing
You can never be too young to lose a day to a disease
You can never be too young
to feel pain
