Friday

Today's been...ugh, I can't even describe it. 

I woke up when I heard something crashing, and I thought one of them had got in...so I crawled into the air vent that goes from the staff room (where I sleep) to the main store.

There weren't any monsters inside.

Yet.

Something inside the shop fell over, and now they knew that someone was inside.  They started hammering the door, and the barricades weren't holding up.

I had to escape, and luckily I had you with me.  I'm now sleeping in the trunk of an old car.  It's not comfy, and it stinks, but I can't pass up the opportunity to sleep somewhere no-one will find me.

I'll continue looking for shelter in the morning.

But don't worry, Hayley...we'll find something.  I promise.
