The language of love

The language of love

A Poem by Mercsa
"

when people are in love, they become blind and goes to the extreme of risking their lives. This is about how someone describes her lover.

"
Thy eyes, the moon dims.
Thou speaks and it sounds like music
Thy voice so soothing like the singing of birds.
Thy hands so soft, like a newly born baby.
Thy lips so sweet, like a freshly baked cake.
Thy eyes sparkles like a shining star.
Thy teeth whiter as a winter snow.
Thy hair looks like a blossom
If age upon me catches, and I sleep forever,
A thousand times I will wish for you, even in the afterlife.

real love will be with us long after we shuffle off our mortal coils...
some nice similes here.
sixth line i think you meant "eyes sparkle"---

age will catch us all eventually, but how nice it would be to spend that forever sleep with someone we love.
