geminiA Poem by Mia Sparrowfixed in the constellation gemini pollux and castor array the night sky like sentinels guarding eternity’s portal. i cast my eyes to the milky way and regard the twins in their brilliance assuaged of despondence i revel in starlight where once a city skyline was empyreal to behold. but for tonight my eyes did wish to see colors of the empire’s spire and the streetlamps down franklin street. my glimpses espied the beta star pulsing brightly allaying encompassed malaise from the darkness about me. © 2016 Mia SparrowReviews
