“They’re so lovely.  How did you remember which flowers are my favorite?”  Zuri asked.

“I pay attention.” Uri replied.

“You are the most thoughtful man I have ever known.”

“I think you just never gave anyone a chance to love you,” Uri said.

“Forget about that.  It’s in the past. You’re the only one I want.” Zuri stated.

“How did I get so lucky?”

“It was the first thing you said to me at the diamond tasting. I was wooed.  Besides, I liked your audacity.  Taking me without so much as an introduction.  I was intrigued.  No man would ever try to speak to me with familiarity.  In fact they’re afraid of me,” she giggled.

“I saw the scared little girl behind that ice queen facad.  I knew you would succumb to my charms.”  He said facetiously as he  rubbed her belly his head propped up on his other hand.  She started tickling him, but he flipped her on her back again, and the two of them just frolicked in bed.

As Zuri slept, he stayed awake contemplating the life altering events that happened in the last six months.  After he and his girlfriend broke up, he wasn’t looking to get into another relationship.  Mr. Chow, to whom he would deliver packages, a seemingly nice man, had designs for him all along.  He started working for a corporation called Behemoth Dynamic with an evil sociopath for its president. He was sucked into corporate espionage when the James Bond activities occurred.  He was now Urial Angelis in whose skin he felt the most comfortable. He had left his past behind and his former existence.  He was no longer Stephen Phillip  He was in love with a beautiful woman and is now on the run from the bad guys.
