A Game Of Hide And Seek

A Game Of Hide And Seek

A Poem by Mercelus

An early grave for a shallow slave
Depravity engraved
   Dirty, Discarded, Encrusted
Drudging
Ephemeral relief
Past mistake
  Presently embraced
   Facade,  Mephistophelean
Rinse and repeat
 Rinse and repeat
  Rinse and repeat
   Rinse and Rage
Caged animosity
  manic frenzy ensued
Ensnared
   Tenuous deterrence
The primordial persevere
