straight and simple, to the pointA Poem by disheveledApathyQuadrant flip. Stupid feelings.
straight and simple,
to the point. i have never been that way with you, jacob. (nor will i ever be) slinging metaphorical ripostes your way always seemed so much easier after all, it's not like you could claim to be any better (you'd twist my words your way in a heartbeat) straight and simple, to the point. tell me then, if you can stand to answer with less than your usual cordial tone do you pity me as much as i pity you? (because you're so pathetic, you keep trying, you'll never be what she wants and you know it, and still you try, and inside i am laughing) (because you're always so loud and rude and arguementative, when all you really want is for people to look at you, notice you, see you) (because you're maybe a tiny bit beautiful, and maybe utterly stunning on some days, and i think that if i measured all your limbs and face and eyes and nose, and multiplied and divided and subtracted, i'd find the perfect ratio, the most beautiful number-) (because maybe sometimes i see myself in you) and it's completely, utterly ridiculous that you're such a bad kismesis that i ended up pitying you and maybe a little bit sad that i'm such a bad kismesis that i ended up pitying you straight and simple, to the point. (or maybe i'll just keep my secrets) © 2014 disheveledApathyAuthor's Note
