Anger's Hungry PassionA Poem by NataliePlastic burns. Melts and disintegrates, You leave my nose to despise you. Anger builds. Growing tensions in my chest As the ashes fall around me. This acid that lurks in the Chambers of my heart is lashing at the bars Hungry to escape, to be fed And destroy. You corrupt my mind Taunting and calling me. But no! I won’t feed you Spoons, full of hatred, annihilation And even then you will grow And gnaw at my wrist As I try hard to choke you And starve you of this You have the mouth of a shark Tearing off my leg with one bite, One swipe of the head. You have the body of a lion Always prepared for a good fight You live for this. But No! I won’t feed you Spoons, full of hatred, annihilation With my breaths I’ll blow you away The cold air shall dampen your ways Still you linger in the air And will not tire. You have eyes that stare deep into the roots of my thoughts And I winch with irritation while your wicked tears drop You have nails of a wild cat shredding curtains off my walls, Reaching purposefully for my skin your thirst for bloodshed Makes me cringe But NO! I won’t feed you Spoons, full of hatred, Annihilation. no. But I will starve you, Kill you and defeat you. © 2010 NatalieAuthor's Note
