You Are the MoonA Poem by Natalie
If an eclipse were really as amazing as they say,
Then all of lights on earth would turn off And all eyes on earth would turn onto the sky. Watching the sun disappear.. As I stand next to you, your eyes flashing red I think to myself, questions entered my head What are your words my tongue cannot spit out? Only you can say. Who are you in dark? Someone different in the light? You are indescribable, totally amazing. You leave the same impression Then change a mind at last second. We all come out, to see twilight's time and Their opened eyes, showed all the fear inside Who are you? I can't perceive. Not one of them, but a creature in between? You are every question is the book. Every answer that does not exist. You are the wonder in every mind. You are the struggle in every life. You are the joy in every smile. You are the fear in every eye. You are the impossible The un-understandable. Who are you? I'm glad I know you. You are the sun. You are the moon. If an eclipse could give us one taste of chaos, one taste of luck It would resemble you. A death and a life. The dark and the light.
