The Brighest Sunsets

The Brighest Sunsets

A Poem by Natalie

The sun rubs against the gray clouds

Shedding particles of dust into air

Flashing colors into human eyes

Praising the Creator of all things in existence,

And everything nonexistent

Worshiping the wonderful God Almighty

Showing the world a hint of the beauty the Lord can create

The sun obeys the redeeming Father

Shining goodbyes and fading onto the other side

The sun glows excellence giving a message to mankind on Earth

This is the Lord! This is God the marvelous king!

The sun follows the Lord, shouting glory to His name

Having no heart to beat or a lung to breathe

The star, the sun even knows her Master

Thanking Him for the beauty He has blessed her with

She follows the Lord into the dark

Whenever He may go she goes

Whatever He commands she obeys

Even the sun sees the love of our Lord

Even the sun has the life provided by our Father

And as He says

She lets dark blue overcome bright yellow

Giving into moon and stars across

And as He says

She moves from night

Becoming invisible from eyes that sleep

If the sun praises my God,

If the sun obeys the Lord,

Then why would I not?

Why would I not?
