is thursday still laundry day?A Poem by Emit's always the little things that make you wonder because they're the least likely to change.
The film came out last year
I can't really remember when, I wasn't concentrating. Rather I was trying my hardest not to concentrate, Seeing if it would all pass me by. (I loved it They told me Without me asking what they thought) If I had seen it, I would have seen you in every scene whether I liked it or not. It wasn't Hollywood's film to make. It was you and yours alone. I couldn't help but hate it even more when I thought about that. I still haven't seen Star Wars. (Everyone thinks it's not my sort of film But actually, it's because I'll never hear you explain the first trilogy to me And it's no longer a prerequisite to enter your home) Halloween rolls around, year after year. it's so damn American, I tell people. No one will understand any costume I wear anyway. I always thought that one year, I could spend that most American of holidays with you, the most American of girls. Some Thursdays, I think of you doing laundry, with the heavy metal turned up high and the horror movie waiting in the DVD player, and I think Well, I hope That even if we've changed beyond repair Some things have stayed the same.
