Inner City EscapeA Poem by linearI watched the faces of the world pass me by today some sad, some smiling others blank fat, thin and many colours.
Life is like that filled with many hopes dreams and dissapointments
Over and over my thoughts tumbled wondering about their hurrying going to work, going home or to play
Venting anger at immobile objects that seem to get in the way they overcome
Early mornings are so often like this in the city people with their plans rushing to be happy trying to forget to be sad thinking will I get laid today. © 2012 linearReviews
