An Open Can of Worms

An Open Can of Worms

A Poem by linear
"

old poem

"

In the quiet of a raging storm

When the very heavens wrath awaits

Listens and longs for you.

Then with your eyes tightly closed as usual

You will see all that you wish to see

Yet you won’t see me.

In the solace of your own mediocrity

You will call

Dogs will howl, as children scream

But never will a tree shudder and fall

Silently for you or me.

Now arise please open up those eyes

Look down on my seeming inequity

As the black leaves of a wasted education crash

Lie with me, die with me

For you will never hold me

Feel now if you may

The open can that resides inside a heart that has never pulsated

Try now and open those blind crimson

Blasphemous eyes

And realise you are not me!

you must have hurt her feelings pretty damn badly, just saying, when she reads this...is going to be an ouch "Lie with me, die with me, For you will never hold me" if you were trying to sting, it definately would do it's job.
