Paper CardsA Poem by linearMake of it what you will, you will anyway.....As battleships of morose grey they came rolling in
Sending wave after wave of shimmering arrows like darts piercing skin in winds of a dull hue
Thunder so loud yet all was silent inside the tempests angry torment in the near distance, shapes shifted
Rolling, twisting and turning into that being that somehow resembled her!
Yearning for a sound where no sound lived listening to a beat a herald of a life once dreamed
Driven by a will that was not my own ripped apart torn into so many different parts
Monotonous days fall like so many others paper cards, discarded, lost and unwanted
Too few days of laughter not enough sunshine never anything other the clouds keep pouring in. © 2012 linearReviews
