The Lady from AngolaA Poem by linearA meetingI met a lady in the street today she was from Angola I said "hello" and we conversed she began to weep
I held her in my arms she smiled she hugged me, I hugged her
She drove off in her car I walked the three miles home the lady from Angola lived next door to me
We seldom speak just wave or say hello.... © 2012 linearAuthor's Note
