The Lady from Angola

The Lady from Angola

A Poem by linear
"

A meeting

"

I met a lady in the street today

she was from Angola

I said "hello" and we conversed

she began to weep

I held her in my arms

she smiled

she hugged me, I hugged her

She drove off in her car

I walked the three miles home

the lady from Angola lived next door to me

We seldom speak

just wave or say hello....

did she know you wanted or needed a ride? Is she married? lol, woman are reluctant to give a ride to men, you never know who you are dealing with even if they live next door. It is sad though, that you were left to walk all that way.
