Cold Loneliness, Bitter Streets

Cold Loneliness, Bitter Streets

A Poem by linear

Standing on the corner of a lonely street

It's where I think we should meet

Now I wonder

Now I think

If you will come to my retreat

In my dreams I  have pictured this

The way you smile and paint your lips

Sparkling eyes

That tell no lies

Slender legs and sway of hips

Time has come, time passed on

Lonely street with lonely man

Coat collar turned up to the wind

But not as bitter

as this fear!

I love that word sway, it reminds me of someone I miss, which actually is supported by the feeling this poem gives, fear is truly a bitter lip..(lol, sorry the devil made me) a bitter pill to swallow, but then again so is loneliness.
