Hard Times

When life feels impossible.

Life can get so difficult

The road can wind for sooo long

The pain can feel everlasting

The confusion

The chaos

The Loneliness

The ups and downs

The right and left turns

How the road carries on

What'll be next

What'll be...the next song

You sing or the next words you write

You can try to stay behind

But the world keeps on spinning

You may feel you need to write a sad song

Like a lost bird chirping for its home

Chirping for it's peace

it's safety

it's dreams

You may feel that a sadd song is all you know 

But there's more to you 

Than that deep sorrow

In those layers of sorrow 

there's also everlasting joy

There's happiness, peace, there's always joy

The fear

No matter the doubt

No matter the loss

That little bit of joy

Ever present 

Ever reverbeating

A shimmer of glitter

A moment of light

To fade away all the paid
