Sometimes I find comfort in myself

Sometimes I feel solace in my own presence

Warmth, love, affection, admiration

Sometimes I feel proud and glad for myself 

So proud of the road I've travelled

Oh how far I've come

So many dragons I've slayed

So many broken pieces I've sewn

Oh how far I've come 

Swimming these thrashing waves

Knocking me off balance

Over and over again

Making me question myself and my worth

But then I find comfort in myself

The antidote to loneliness

The cure for emptiness

Is to feel the fullness of my soul

To feel the sun, the joy, the happiness

That radiates from within me
