Before 

You flooded my thoughts 24/7

Consuming my mind with the idea of us being together

Drowning in our love for each other 

Now

I see you found a new lover

Instead of asking myself 

"What's wrong with me?"

"Why didn't you want me like you want her?"

I became overjoyed

Not at the fact you were in a relationship

But the fact I'm over you

The fact I cleaned up the flood that you created

She looks compatible to you

Than I did with you

You wanted me for sex

But I'm not a human sex toy 

I am a human being 

With love that can drown you harder than a huge wave

I am a rebel against the world

A beautiful soul that's too precious 

To be treated like a lust reliever 

I am glad I didn't give you what you desired from me

I am glad you found someone else that could possibly satisfy that little desire 

But what you did to me

I hope you love her

Make her feel as though she is the best person in the world

I hope you treat her like a queen 

But just know

You won't speak of her the way I would have spoke of you

You won't love her as much as I would have loved you
