Is it my fault

Is it my fault

A Poem by Michel'le

Is it my fault?
That you wanted me for my body
Using me as a human sex toy
Taking my feelings and distorting them
Is it my fault?
That I allowed you to do this to me
Telling you to stop in my head
But wanting to please you
Is it my fault?
That when you see me
Your eyes burn me
More than the sun would
Is it my fault?
That you ignore me easily
But i cant say the same for you?
But i have no choice now
Is it my fault

How much a part we play in the situations we find ourselves in is often a common query, especially after a bad relationship has ended. Perhaps we are blind to things because we want it to work out or we feel it will get better. Other times we are completely manipulated. This is a thought provoking piece for sure.

Some relationships are very destructive but for some reason have such a powerful hold on us. So perfectly expressed here. Nice job.
