Heavy Thoughts

Heavy Thoughts

A Poem by Mello

Riddle me the signs
Why it was in disguise
Too emotional to realize
Cautious of the upheaval to demise
dipping the dark lights
Was I meant for critics
Or hear words of a wise
Unsecured loans do last a while
We was broken drove a mile
Away from you and I
To find out what's inside
Insecure tagged alongside
Kept roaming around mines
Finer things have settled price
The ignored were with prize

My heart heavy
The rain got heavy
Thoughts of you daddy
It gets me sad so very
Sometimes its scary
I wannabe next you; so i could pour these lines cleverly
At times I get dark and weary
Yell out how I have missed you dearly
I tend not to; often deadly
I do so to come close and to have you near me
Yet too much here waiting for me
Should I choose u now or when?
To myself I talked down nasty and mean
Don't have a last hug or whatever; I was too fucked up of a teen
Now no armor of such to shield me from the deep end

Very serious poem; good job on the intensive rhyming. Also, you're from Moorhead? So am I haha. Didn't know it was this easy on this site to find someone from your same town.
