Fish Bowl

I realized today that a fish bowl is the perfect analogy of my mind and thought process.

They fog the glass

And float interminably

How they escape

I have no clue

How they recreate

I'm mindless to

They feast and thrive

And splash around

I can't escape

Say the least is true

Not quite irate

But out of the blue

Some thoughts are rocks

Some thoughts are fish

Some thoughts are caught

Some break the dish

But whirl pools spin

When I open my mouth

If you aren't careful

An ocean comes out

If not

Then nothing comes at all

My thoughts are fish

That I can't recall

We're thoughts swimming in a dish,
looking in and out,
each of us a little fish
with a cause to shout.
It's our one and only wish
to be known about.
Take us now, and do not squish
