Why Can't I Think

Describes how I feel most of the time.

why can't I think

why can't I say

what the hell is with this muzzle

that keeps me at bay

it anchors me down

in a stormy sea

I try to SCREAM

and I pray you'll notice me

but you couldn't begin

for you'd vie for a friend

I can't even start

for this here is the END

I pray for the future

I pray for the past

pray for the present

for it never lasts

I'm hopeless and blind

I try to be kind

but how can I sell

if my soul has been signed

and you say I need help

but I talked to a shrink

but no doc could answer me

why can't I think

I could search  f o r e v e r

I could find my way

but I'd still be anchored down

mindless to say

lost in love

written in ink

for we'll never know
