Far from the end

Far from the end

A Poem by Caramel
"

This is a poem about how teenagers, especially intelligent teenagers, often find they aren't taken seriously... Well, I do.

"
I'm in the place the eye does not see
I'm in the middle of the middle
but far from the end
old enough to know better
but too young to know why
for some I must be an adult
but for most I'm still a child.

So I must show respect and
make my own
opinions
but my voice is not heard
no matter how loud I speak
how much sense
wisdom
or kindness
their ears do not care for my words.
No matter what they be.

I'm in the place ages eye does not see
I'm in the middle of the middle
but far from the end.

You are welcome.
A nice write!
And very easy to connect to!
Throughout the poem, you keep thinking, "Yeahh been there, done that"
Great work. :)

Nothing wrong with this poem. I like unusual pattern it sets. reminds me of beatnik poetry, a little.

Really? Do I have to talk about myself? I tend to ramble a lot... Well... To sum me up in two words: Lazy perfectionist. It's complicated, I know. I haven't always loved writing, I used to hate it, .. more..
