Every Piece Of YouA Poem by Meliss@k
I’ll miss you
When we’re old I’ll tell you something, While you stare at me cold I’ll miss you When your hair is grey We’ll sit quietly Unable to talk about our day I’ll miss you The you- that laughed at your own jokes The you- that had the memory of an elephant The you- that wrapped me in your healthy arms The you- that complimented me on my looks, every day I’ll miss Your voice when you’re too old to speak, Your voice when I’m too old to hear, I’ll miss you When my sight starts to fail, And your mind begins to forget I’ll miss you Babe I miss you Every Piece Of You © 2020 Meliss@k |
