Kiss On My CheekA Poem by Meliss@kTo be loved by man or man's best friend, it's a beautiful thing, to be loved either way...
A strong breath on my neck, then my ears,
The breathing is deep, Warm, It blows away my tears. A gentle head, leans over, A chin, Sitting on my shoulder. I raise my arm up, I stroke the wispy hair, The power on my shoulder lets out a deep sigh, How I wish I could see through a horse's eyes... The wind blows my hair, While shielded by the body of this giant- soft, dusty, black, and mature- The chest hugs me From the hurt of our world. For as long as a horse's breathing is deep, Is as long as a heart continues to beat. But such companionship is unique, The love of a horse for a human, Shelter. Safety. Home- Your kiss on my cheek. © 2019 Meliss@kFeatured Review
