My grandma once told me how she didn't like snow, and I replied back to her comment with a poem explaining the beauty of snow and how we should be thankful for it.
Snow? It's what makes the music of laughing children ring off of sycamore trees. It's what helps polar bears and penguins feel comfortable when they undergo a winter freeze. Snow gives a flower purpose to bloom again.
Snow gives a child an imagination of a snowman; a smiling friend who will stand tall until the sun's rays put it's life to an end.
Snow creates angels, dancing and flapping their wings in the grass. Snow helps people forget the problems of their past.
You learn to make hot cocoa as you slip under a blanket
and build a warm fire out of logs and marshmallow banquets.
Without snow there would be no winter.
Without winter there would be no turn of the seasons... causing no Fall, no Spring, no Summer- there are many, MANY, more beneficial winter reasons.
How dare you betray such a necessity to life.
Aren't the four seasons... ALL four of them... what help you survive?
The answer is yes, my Dear Friend.
Give thanks to Him above for such a annual trend.
Give thanks to Him above for such a loving Gift! And to Him alone who's name and praises we will thankfully lift!
I some time thought if snow would fall here in Bangladesh, magical events would happen. Some of them are:
1.All the rams, dogs and domestic and wild animals would grow longer furs which could be molded as wools.
2.People would become more conscious of winter and would collect fire wood or warming devices to save themselves.
3.Many more that don't come right now.
You had a wonderful challenge with your grandma.
I enjoyed your logic that enabled you to convince her.
I like to know what is the pattern of your poem.
I want to specifically learn its rhyming or prosody.
Could you help?
I must praise your wonderful write.
Congratulations!!!

I wish that I COULD "help" you with the rhyming scheme that i used here, but (honestly speaking) i don't use rhyming rules that we are taught to use in Literature classes. Normally I just feel Inspired and start writing.
I guess something that i find myself normally doing though is rhyming the last word of each sentence twice, and then starting over with a different sounding rhyme with the next two sentences and the words that they end with (repeat)... but that's the only advice I can give you on the rhyming patter that I use, because I honestly have no clue! haha i'm so sorry!
But thank you again for your kind and uplifting reviews!
