HypocrateA Poem by Meliss@kI read Luke 14:23-35 and wanted to write a response of what I gained from the verses. I decided to use poetry.
I am part of the crowd.
Wow, I am a hypocrite. I say I have ears, but what do I hear? I say I have a mouth, but everything I speak is blinded. Am I really a true Christian? I am nothing but a hypocrite. I must love. All I have withing me, I must love. I must love Him. He has saved me from death. I never give Him all of me, even through His heroism and compassion. I must love Him. All I have within me. I give you my love Lord. Take me, lead my life. I must love. He is Radical. I am not. He is radical. I am a sinner. He is radical. What am i but a speck of run over dust? He is radical. I follow cautiously behind. He is radical. What am I but a sinner? Bravery; I am shy. Bravery; I am quiet. Bravery; I look away from the eyes. Bravery; I feel alone. Bravery? I need Bravery. © 2012 Meliss@k |
